Dresses for babies and children

Knitted and jersey, newborn to nine. Fully fashioned knitted dresses shaped panel by panel on the machine, and soft organic cotton jersey dresses for everyday. Hand-drawn prints, and colours chosen to be worn rather than saved for best.

Made to move in. A dress a child cannot run in is a dress that stays in the wardrobe. These are cut to be lived in, and they wash and wash.

Layer them. With tights and a cardigan in winter, bare-legged in summer. Prints run across the range, so the pieces sit together even when bought seasons apart.

What are the knitted dresses made from?

Organic cotton, and some in cashmere blends. They are fully fashioned, meaning each panel is shaped on the machine rather than cut from a sheet — no offcuts, and no raw edges inside.

Can I wash them in the machine?

Yes, all of them, cashmere blends included. Wool or delicate cycle at 30, and never hotter than 30.

Are they warm enough for winter?

The knitted dresses are, layered over tights with a cardigan. The jersey dresses are lighter and suit spring and summer, or indoors.

Do they make a good gift?

A knitted dress does, particularly with a matching cardigan. A gift box with a handwritten card can be added at checkout.
