What a newborn actually needs

Six to eight sleepsuits. More than most people expect, because the first weeks involve more changes than anyone warns you about. Bodysuits underneath in the same number.

Fastenings matter more than prints. A two-way zip opens from the ankle so a night change does not mean undressing the whole baby. Poppers are easier one-handed. Most people end up wanting some of each.

Flat seams, soft everything. Newborn skin is thinner than an adult's and has never worn anything before. The range is made with organic cotton, and the bodysuits are cut to sit flat under a sleepsuit rather than ridge up.

Do not buy only 0–3 months. Babies move through the first size quickly, and some arrive already past it. A few pieces in 3–6 months put away is the thing most second-time parents say they wish they had done.
