Kids Sustainable Clothing

Organic cotton and knitwear for children from two to nine, in the same hand-drawn prints the bonniemob has been designing since 2005. Dresses, t-shirts, joggers, cardigans, swimwear and coats. Kids clothes, two to nine

Sizes run by age, and heights are on the size guide. Two to three years through to nine to ten. Children of the same age come in very different heights, so the size guide lists the height each size is cut to. Checking that is the surer way to choose.

Fully fashioned knitwear. Cardigans, jumpers and dungarees knitted panel by panel on the machine rather than cut from a sheet, so there are no offcuts and no raw edges inside. The turn-back cuffs on the knits let the sleeves down as a child grows.

Prints drawn in Brighton since 2005. Rainbows, stars, checkerboards, bananas. Hand-drawn by Tracey Samuel and used across the range, so a t-shirt and a cardigan bought two years apart still sit together.

Machine washable at 30. All of it, including the cashmere blends, on a wool or delicate cycle. Made to be durable, washed often and handed on.

FAQ's

What ages does this collection cover?

Two to three years through to nine to ten years. For babies and toddlers up to twenty-four months, the baby collection is the one to look at.

How do I choose the right size?

Sizes are labelled by age, but children of the same age vary a great deal. The size guide gives the height each size is cut to, and measuring against that is the surer way to choose.

Is the cotton organic?

Yes. The range is made with organic cotton. The outerwear uses GRS certified recycled polyester in the shell, lining and padding, and the swimwear is REPREVE fabric made from post-consumer plastic bottles with UPF 50+.

Can it go in the washing machine?

Yes, all of it. Wool or delicate cycle at 30, and never hotter than 30, cashmere blends included.

Are the clothes unisex?

Most of the range is designed to suit any child, in prints and colours chosen to work on everyone. There are separate girls and boys collections if you would rather browse that way.

Where are they designed?

In Brighton, by Tracey Samuel, who has been drawing the prints since 2005. The bonnie mob is stocked by Selfridges, Harrods and Bergdorf Goodman.
