Family friendly festivals round up!

by The Bonniemob on August 07, 2014

Festival season is nearly over - but there's still a month or so with some amazing events that are perfect for all of the family. With a few of the big-name festivals already been and gone, we've selected some family friendly festivals that you can still make!

TOP FAMILY FESITVALS IN UK

1. Camp Bestival 31st July- 3rd August

Although Camp Bestival is finished for this year, why not think about it for next summers adventures. With an impressive line up, Camp Bestival ensures fun for all the family. With a 'kids garden' there's crafts, bubbles, an insect circus and bouncy castles.

2.  Shambala 21-24th August

Known for it's kid friendly vibe, this year the folk at Shambala have a creche, a 8yr+ camp and have made some family friendly changes, including kid sized loos, and a baby pit-stop area!

3. Beautiful Days 15-17th August

Based in Devon, this festivals has an entire kids area, from toddlers to teens! We've just spotted their storytelling area, and can imagine a sweet campfire experience!

4. Green Man 14-17th August

Again, another designated kids area, with free workshops and activities just a stones throw from the entertainment. The 'Somewhere' club for kids 13+  particularly caught our eye, with film recording and interviewing workshops!

5. Lollibop 15-17th August

Why not visit this Glastonbury-like festival for kids! Join in the fun with CBeebies star Justin Fletcher or get active with Spoticus from Lazy Town! This festival is packed with activites for you and your little one to enjoy all day!

6. Wilderness 7th-10th August

Experience a different Wilderness as the Cornbury Park with plenty of fun and magic for the kids. Visit the House of Fairy tales, The Charles Dickens museum or let your imagination run wild at the Discover children's story centre!
