Swimwear that earns its place

UPF 50+, blocking 97.5% of UV rays. The protection is in the fabric itself rather than a coating, so it does not wash out. On a beach day it does the quiet work that suncream keeps needing topped up.

FAQ's

What does UPF 50+ mean?

UPF measures how much ultraviolet light a fabric lets through. UPF 50+ blocks 97.5% of UV rays, and it is the highest rating given. It is the fabric doing the work, not a finish, so it does not wash out.

Do they still need suncream?

Yes, on anywhere the swimwear does not cover — face, hands, feet and the back of the neck. The swimsuit covers the rest so there is far less to keep topping up.

What is REPREVE?

A recycled fibre spun from post-consumer plastic bottles. It is what the swimwear range is made from.

What sizes do you do?

Newborn through to nine to ten years. Sizes are labelled by age, and the size guide gives the height each one is cut to — worth checking for swimwear, where the fit matters more.

How do I wash it?

Rinse in cool fresh water after the sea or the pool, then machine wash at 30 on a delicate cycle. Never hotter than 30. Dry away from direct heat.

Is it suitable for a baby's first holiday?

The zip long-sleeve swimsuits are the ones to look at — they cover the shoulders and arms and go on quickly. A sun hat from the same range finishes the job.
