Why are these items reduced?

Because the season has moved on, not because the clothes are lesser. A print reaches the end of its run, a style is down to its last sizes, or a colourway has been replaced. We would rather they were worn than sat in a stockroom.

Is the quality the same as the full-price range?

Identical. These are the same garments that were sold at full price in an earlier season — same fabric, same make, same finish. Nothing is produced specially for the outlet.

What does “end of line” mean?

It means what is listed is all that is left. Once a size sells out it is not coming back, because we do not reprint past-season fabrics.

What is it made from?

The range is made with organic cotton. The swimwear uses REPREVE, a recycled fibre spun from post-consumer plastic bottles. Each product page says what that piece is made from.

Can I return sale items?

Yes. Sale items carry the same 28 days from delivery as everything else, and your statutory rights are unaffected. The one difference is that we cannot cover return postage on sale or clearance items, so that part is down to you.

What does delivery cost?

UK standard delivery is free over £50 and £3.75 below that, sent Royal Mail Tracked 48 in two to four working days. Next-day is £7.50 on orders placed before noon.

Do you ship worldwide?

We do. European orders arrive with all duties and taxes included, so there is nothing to pay on the doorstep. For every other country, the shipping cost, the delivery estimate and any duties are shown in full at the checkout before you pay.

Should I buy a size up?

It is the most sensible way to shop the outlet. Sizes are labelled by age and the size guide gives the height each one is cut to — buying a size ahead now means it is worn at full value next season.

Do the sale items come gift wrapped?

Yes — gift wrap can be added at the checkout on any order, sale included.

Where else are these clothes sold?

The bonnie mob is stocked by Selfridges, Harrods and Bergdorf Goodman. What is in the outlet is the same collection those shops carried, a season on.

How do I wash it?

Machine wash at 30, inside out for printed pieces, and dry away from direct heat. Skipping the tumble dryer is the single thing that most extends the life of a garment.
