Leo’s a bit like me; we love seasons. Autumn happens to be one of our favourite times of year. Especially when the sun is shining, the mornings are crisp and we can crunch crimson leaves with our feet. It’s also the perfect excuse for a new wardrobe...
When The Bonnie Mob invited us to have a sneak peak at their gorgeous new collection, Leo and I literally ran to their HQ in our hometown of Brighton & Hove. Leo is one of those rare five-year-old boys who actually really loves clothes. And he has good taste. If I do say so myself.
These pictures show all the goodies he persuaded Bonnie Mob head honcho, Tracey, to part with. I think it was his big doe eyes that did it. Gets away with murder. He actually chose that entire wardrobe himself. Seriously.
Once again, I’ve been working like a nutter. As well as making headway on 2016’s Funk The Family festival (www.funkthefamily.co.uk), I’m also organising a big party for big kids. Adults need to have fun too... right?
Under my Funk The Format (www.facebook.com/FunkTheFormat) guise, I’m currently buying parrot onesies, inflatable pineapples and tons of green feathers.
It’s all in the name of Club Tropicana, an anti-Christmas Christmas party, taking place in Hove on Saturday 12th December. I’m trying to get The Bonnie Mob down. Hint, hint.
Anyway, Leo was feeling a little left out, so last weekend I took him up to one of our favourite spots, Devil’s Dyke, just outside of Brighton & Hove, for a treat. It was such a beautiful Autumn’s day. “I love it here!” Leo kept shouting, whilst practising his giant jumps. I did too.
There really is something magical about England in Autumn.
