The pieces that defined the brand. Icons gathers the designs that customers came back for, season after season — the shapes and prints that people still write in about years later.

Fully fashioned knitwear. Each panel shaped on the machine rather than cut from a sheet, so there are no offcuts and no raw edges inside. It is a slower way to knit, and it is why these pieces survive being handed on.

Drawn in Brighton since 2005. By Tracey Samuel, who has drawn every print in the range. The bonnie mob is stocked by Selfridges, Harrods and Bergdorf Goodman.

Made with organic cotton. Machine washable at 30, never hotter, cashmere blends included. Made to be durable, washed often and handed on.

What is the Icons collection?

What does fully fashioned mean?

Each panel is knitted to shape on the machine instead of being cut from a larger piece, so there are no offcuts and no raw edges inside. The garment holds its shape.

Who designs them?

Tracey Samuel, in Brighton, who has drawn every print in the range since 2005.

Is the cotton organic?

Yes. The range is made with organic cotton.

Can I machine wash them?

Yes, cashmere blends included. Wool or delicate cycle at 30, never hotter than 30.
