Knitted baby blankets

A knitted blanket is the item that gets used every day and kept for decades. It goes over the pram, across the car seat, on the floor for tummy time — and often becomes the blankie, the nunu, the one that has to come everywhere, taken to bed and cuddled and cannot be replaced. We can't tell you how many times we've had distraught parents contacting us trying to find a replacement blanket for one bought many years ago, but lost on a trip to the park!

Knitted, not woven — the difference. The bonniemob blankets are knitted in GOTS certified organic cotton or merino or cashmere blends and fully fashioned, so each piece is shaped on the machine rather than cut from cloth. Nothing is cut, so nothing is wasted, and there are no raw edges to work loose. A knitted blanket has give and drape that a woven one doesn't, which is why it stays soft and settles around a baby like a cocoon.

Newborn to toddler, in one blanket. A newborn blanket needs to be light and soft; an infant blanket needs to be generous enough to still work in a cot.
