Many styles are also available in sustainable knitted fabrics, made using traditional techniques for a soft, heirloom-quality finish. Featuring lots of rainbow brights, or neutral pastels — all designed to last and be loved again and again.

Gender neutral, by design

Colour is the whole point. The bonniemob has drawn its own prints since 2005 — rainbows, stars, bananas, checkerboards — in colours chosen because they are a pleasure to look at on a small person. That is what makes the range unisex: it was designed that way from the first sketch, rather than sorted into camps afterwards.

One wardrobe, handed along. Clothes that suit any child are clothes a second and third baby can wear. It is the quiet reason unisex makes sense — a sleepsuit that goes to a cousin, a cardigan that comes back out three years later.

Fully fashioned knitwear. Each panel is shaped on the machine rather than cut from a sheet, so there are no offcuts and no raw edges inside. It is a slower way to knit and it is why the pieces hold their shape.

Organic cotton, washed at 30. Everything here is machine washable, including the cashmere blends, on a wool or delicate cycle at 30. Nothing in the range is ever washed hotter than that.

Sizes run by age. Newborn through to nine to ten years. The size guide gives the height each size is cut to, which is the surer way to choose.
