One print, a whole outfit

Drawn in Brighton. The Rainbow Sunshine print started as a hand drawing in our studio before it ever became a fabric. It is the reason the rainbows sit slightly wonky and the sun has a face — nothing about it came off a template.

It runs across the range. Short sleeve playsuits, leggings, a bonnet hat, a bodysuit and a muslin swaddle. You can dress a baby head to toe in the one print, or pick a single piece and let it do the talking against plain knits.

The range is made with organic cotton. Soft enough for newborn skin, and it washes well — which matters more than anything else on a playsuit that will be worn twice a week.

A good gift. A playsuit and a matching bonnet is the pairing people reach for, and the muslin makes it feel like a proper present. The newborn gifts page has more like it.

Yes. The playsuit, leggings, bodysuit and bonnet hat all come in Rainbow Sunshine, and the muslin swaddle matches. Most people pair the playsuit with the bonnet.

What is it made from?

The range is made with organic cotton.

What sizes does it come in?

Newborn upwards, labelled by age. The size guide gives the height each size is cut to, which is the more reliable way to choose.

Is the print unisex?

Yes. It was drawn to work for any baby, and the colours are not gendered.

Will the colours fade?

Wash at 30 and dry away from direct sun and the print holds well. The inks are chosen to last through the repeated washing a baby playsuit gets.

Does it make a good newborn gift?

It is one of the easiest. A playsuit in 0-3 months with the matching bonnet covers it, and nobody already has it.
