Natural fibres only. One of each. Chosen, mended and embroidered by hand.
I have spent twenty years designing knitwear, and the thing that still gets me is how much good knitting is thrown away over a hole the size of a pea. RE•LOVED is what I do about it. I buy pieces I would be glad to own — cashmere, lambswool, Aran cables, hand-knits that somebody sat and made — and I mend them. Not invisibly. The repairs are stitched in colour, by hand, and every piece carries a small embroidered mark of ours somewhere on it.
Each one is the only one. When it has gone it has gone, and its page stays up so you can see what it was.
How it works
Every listing tells you what the piece is made of, who originally made it, what size is on its label, and what it measures flat in centimetres. There is a written condition note on each one covering every remaining flaw, and a note on what I did to it and why.
Everything is cleaned and treated before it is listed, and nothing goes up that I would not wear myself.
Questions
Are these bonniemob clothes?
No. These are pieces by other makers that I have bought second-hand, repaired and embroidered. Each listing names the brand that originally made the garment. We are not connected to those brands and they have not endorsed any of this — the only thing of ours in the piece is the mending, the embroidery and the small RE•LOVED label stitched in beside the original one.
Where do the pieces come from?
I find them. That is most of the work and it is the part I enjoy. I look for natural fibres, classic shapes and knitting that was done well in the first place, because a well-made jumper is worth mending and a badly made one is not.
Is there really only one of each?
Yes. Every piece is a single item in a single size. There are no restocks and nothing comes back.
Why are the repairs visible?
Because hiding them would be a shame. A darn worked in a colour that sings is a better thing to look at than a thin patch you are trying not to notice, and it tells the truth about where the piece has been. It is one of the oldest ideas in knitting and it still looks wonderful.
What condition will it be in?
Each listing carries a condition grade — Unworn, Excellent, Very good or Good — and underneath it a written note covering anything you would notice: thinning at the elbow, pilling, a mark that would not shift. These are described features, not faults. Read the note and look at the close-up photographs before you buy, and ask me if anything is unclear.
How do I know it will fit?
Go by the measurements, not the label. Sizing on older knitwear is all over the place and a 1990s medium is not a 2026 medium. Every listing gives chest, body length and sleeve measured flat in centimetres. Measure something you already wear and love, and compare.
Has it been cleaned?
Yes, every piece, before any work is done on it and again before it is sent. Wool and cashmere are treated for moth as a matter of course.
How should I look after it?
Hand wash cool with a wool detergent, press the water out rather than wringing it, and dry flat away from heat. Never hang wet knitwear. Keep it folded rather than on a hanger, and air it now and then — moths like still, dark, undisturbed wool.
Can I return it?
Yes. You have fourteen days from the day it arrives to change your mind, the same as anything else on the site. Send it back unworn with the labels on and we will refund you, including the basic delivery you paid. This is in addition to your legal rights if something arrives faulty or not as described.
Will there be more?
Yes, in small batches as I find and finish them. Sign up to hear when a new drop goes live — they tend not to last.

I’m really impressed with the baby clothes I bought from Bonnie Mob! The organic cotton feels incredibly soft and gentle on my baby’s skin — you can truly feel the quality the moment you touch it. The fabric is well-made and durable, even after a few washes, and the designs are absolutely adorable. You can tell the difference compared to many other brands — Bonnie Mob clothes just feel more premium, comfortable, and thoughtfully made. Definitely one of my new favourites for babywear! 👶💛
