This school year is another landmark one for me, as my first child heads off to Secondary school - how the time flies! It seems like only yesterday I had baby Alice in my arms and was inspired to start creating quality baby and children's clothes that she could wear, which has grown into the international company that The Bonnie Mob is today.
Yet as I am looking around for school uniforms for her and my son, I am shocked at the lack of quality options on the market any more. Everything seems to be a scratchy poly-cotton blend and costs less than a cup of coffee - which to me screams that somewhere down the production line either the quality is being jeopardised or someone is being exploited. Neither of these ideas sit well with me.
I want to know that the clothes my children are going to be wearing for the majority of each week are of good quality fabrics; will be comfortable and breathable; have been ethically made; and will last them for the whole school year if not longer. And yet this no longer appears to be available on the UK highstreet.
So with this in mind, we have put together a selection of high quality children's clothes from our range that would work perfectly for kids that don't have to wear school uniforms. These clothes are practical, comfortable, ethical and made to last - and pass down to other brothers and sisters too! View the full range here >
